Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using the Brave browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse, then send that data back to a third party, essentially spying on your browsing habits. We strongly recommend you stop using this browser until this problem is corrected. The latest version of the Opera browser sends multiple invalid requests to our servers for every page you visit. The most common causes of this issue are: What part of "I dislike a business practice and am voicing that to the developer who used it" do you not understand? As a consumer I'm doing them a favor by giving them the feedback, they could just suffer bad retention in the game or missed opportunities to make money with DLC and not know why.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. THAT is bad practice and p2w, not giving backers a gift for actually backing the development TWO YEARS before release. Or councelers guarenteed to escape with OP stats. Or new OP Jasons after release that were guarenteed to win games. What part of, "it was a gift for backing the game" does your ignorant ass not understand? You want to know what bad practice would be? Offering new perks that cost actual money to buy. Originally posted by alonesilverwolf:Lmfao, people like you are brick walls. What are you even talking about? This person was agreeing with the dev choice to keep it locked away.Īnd it wasnt locked, there was a whole 2 years that they PROMISED exclusive content for 6$ Its your won damn fault for not buying it. But you're being a child arguing that consumers telling companies what they want is bad. Sometimes I decide the value proposition is still worth it. Sometimes it means I don't buy games I'd probably otherwise like. No matter the game or risks I dislike locking mechanics behind a pay wall if it's multiplayer. Babies don't belong in adult games like this, go back to playing Roblox at the kiddie table, little boy You sound like a damn crybaby because you can't get a free handout-the very definition of entitlement. Sounds like you're the main entitled person here. It's being a smart consumer to let the developers know. It's consumer activism to rail against something you don't like. It's not entitlement to hate a business practice. Those complaining about it need to lose their freaking sense of entitlement. Would I love to play that Jason? Hell yeah. I never backed them from the start, got burned with No Man's Sky, so I didn't want to chance it. The only people complaining about it are spoiled, jealous, whiny little brats who want a free handout.Īnd this is coming from someone who will never have said Jason. It would be a slap in the backers faces to release this Jason to everyone later. These people took a chance and backed the game as much as 2 years in advance. It is not available to anyone else, and according to the devs it never will be.Īnd this is a good decision. The way I understand it, it was a way for them to raise money (they are a small Indi company after all) to help with game development, and was their way to incentivise and thank their backers.
